D-TECNOLIFE ------ UVERworld
Uverworld or stylized as UVERworld is a Japanese rock band consisting of 5 members that originated from Kusatsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. The band is well known for their mixture of musical genres such as hard rock, electronic, and beat-boxing. UVERchan, the band’s mascot, is a fictional bear-bat like character, which appears on several of their covers.
The band made their debut with today's song: the single "D-tecnoLife", which served as the 2nd opening theme song for the anime Bleach. Three months later, Uverworld's second single, "Chance!" was used as the theme for the PSP game Bleach: Heat the Soul 2 and was the last single released in 2005.
So why is this song so special?, well, for starters it's a great example of modern J-Rock... it's a catchy tune with a powerful rhythm that builds up and never stops...

You've been hurt by an unspeakable pain and sadness;
Together, let's carry each other's incredible pasts;
Don't give up on living!
Whoa-
Whoa-
I held your hand.
Will I end up losing them someday?
I want to protect you and your smile, so;
Even if the voice that calls to me is dying..
Even if the wind that follows along time disappears...
Together, let's carry each other's incredible pasts;
Don't give up on living!
Whoa-
Whoa-
I held your hand.
Will I end up losing them someday?

Awesome song and one of the best anime opening ever ;)
This song is not just an anime opening for me, one of my fave songs! I'll never ever get bored how many times I listen it
Mmmm, I just love this track! It's one of those songs that make you go all "WOW!" the first time you hear them.
Amazing song alone but I will be damned if didn't just fit absolutely perfect as the opening for Ergo Proxy. Terrific show and great song.

This song stayed on the top 20 in Japan for 22 weeks and spent most of it at number one. This became the number four single of 2005 and the number one single of the year from Orange Range, selling 628,329 copies...
Don´t miss the awesome -translated- lyrics and the Bleach Opening Video in the links below!
Rays of light from the stars in the night sky above
send a plea from across the ages
with colours that haven't faded
It's somebody's cry, reflected in those sparkling eyes
A wish carried on the wind, a request from the moon
to live as fully as possible, day by day
So that our wishes, too, will be in someone's heart someday,
let's shine on like that star...
